The dashboard is a convenience tab where users can quickly access their saved reports and project summaries.

A report created with complex user-defined criteria can be saved by giving it a name, as described here. Upon saving it, it becomes available on the dashboard tab for easy access.

Against each saved report, the following menu options are offered:



Using the icons above, the saved reports can be viewed, edited, emailed or deleted with a single-click.

The dashboard also lists all projects managed using a Basecamp account, and the summary of each of them can be viewed as well. The project summary typically consists of the client name, start date, date of last activity, total hours spent, pending milestones and tasks. This view enables users to quickly grasp the situation, with regard to their projects.
